Holy Is the Lord blends two well-known historical melodies into a single flowing expression that declares God’s holiness. This arrangement combines a beautiful classic melody by composer Franz Schubert with a traditional 3-part canon (round), calling for pure, beautiful children’s voices to proclaim that God is holy, uniquely set apart from all other beings. The 3-part round allows children to learn three short individual melodies and then weave them together simultaneously into rich 3-part harmony.
There are optional instrumental parts available, as well as options for adult singers to join the kids as well.
